Anna's Garden

Anna Atkins was an English botanist and photographer. A pioneer in Cyanotype printing, she published the first book illustrated with photographic images. More accurately, they were photograms, i.e., images created without a camera. What if Anna were alive today? These images reflect my interpretation. They are digital photograms made via a combination of archival ink-jet and hand-printed cyanotype.
